Jodhpur

Words

Even after all these days, I still could not agree with Ahmed, my driver, on an optimal temperature in the cab. He loved the air conditioning and the rare opportunity for him to cool down to the maximum. I got a cold and some fever as a result. So my so far good travel mood got a little damper. Nevertheless, I didn’t let myself be put off and after successfully getting some medicine, I trudged through the blue city, because there were many beautiful things to see here as well.

The size of the fortress was overwhelming and difficult to capture up close. The palace with its museum and some old rooms told of a time long past. As in Jaipur, the view from the top of the city and the landscape compensated for the effort of the climb, which this time really brought me to the edge of my strength. Unfortunately, I could not really enjoy Jodhpur with a dripping nose.
