The night train brought me relaxed and with a few hours of sleep to Bangalore. Since my return flight to Germany was already planned for the following day, I had no big plans for this city. The botanical garden, not far from the hotel, offered itself for a small visit. Unfortunately, there were only many sleeping dogs, a few really big palm trees and very, very old, even bigger trees.
It was the end of the trip, which could have gone on at this point. With the firm intention to travel to India once or twice more to see the mountains of the north and the water landscapes of the south, I said goodbye to this incomparably impressive country the next morning at the airport in Bangalore.
